It is available in the Sarasota studio or virtually, for children and teens ages 5–17.
What happens in a trial lesson?
The trial is a real lesson, not a shortened sample. Courtney meets your child at the keyboard, gets a feel for where they are, and teaches the way she would in any week’s lesson — posture and hand shape for a brand-new beginner, or the current repertoire for a student transferring from another teacher.
By the end, you’ll have seen exactly how Courtney teaches and how your child responds. There is no pressure to continue: the trial exists so families can make a confident decision after experiencing a lesson, not before.
How much does the trial cost?
The trial lesson is $46.67, the standard single-lesson rate. It is not free, but it is also not a commitment — you pay for the one lesson and decide from there. Ongoing lessons at Lively Keys start at $175 per month; you can see the full breakdown on the pricing page.
In-studio or virtual?
Your choice. The Lively Keys studio is in Sarasota near University Parkway, a short drive for families in Lakewood Ranch and Bradenton. Prefer to stay home? The same trial lesson is available online over video, which many out-of-area families use for their first lesson.
